Who is the Founder of The Grateful Agency?
Rodney attended a technical school in New York City where he received a Digital Technology Certificate. With a deeply ingrained and unwavering belief in himself, he rose from living on a park bench becoming the youngest person to manage a network control center for Prudential-Bache Securities at the age of twenty four. Not stopping there, he then rose to Vice President of Voice & Data Technology at Chase Bank.
Rodney always had a passion for fashion and pursued this love by designing his own suits. After receiving numerous compliments on his attire one day he was encouraged by a stranger, who admired his style, to start his own business. Following the 9/11 disaster, Chase began downsizing, he decided it was finally time to take a leap of faith and begin his own business.
Starting with one tailor, RJA Tailoring & Design was born. Having rock-solid determination, his clothing company began to grow and in a short period of time they were doing business with some of the most widely known companies in the world like Diesel, Zenga, Ted Baker, Zara, Loro Piana and Macy’s to name a few.
With managing a budget of over 20 million dollars in Corporate America and then helping his staff from both Chase and RJA Tailoring & Design with financial services, Rodney became licensed in Life and Health Insurance.
Now, with our partnership with Experior Financial Group, we serve all 50 states and Puerto Rico with over 18,000 Licensed Agents.
